In this section you will find the leaflet made by the European Commission, in order to inform consumers about their rights when making payments in the European Union and the European Economic Area.
In addition to what is mentioned in the leaflet, we inform you that:
UniCredit Bank has
balanced the fees charged for payments in EURO with those charged for payments in LEI, starting with November 1, 2019 (the following date of December 15, 2019 is established in the flyer);
According to Law no. 209/2019 regarding payment services and for changing some normative acts, your responsibility in case of an unauthorised payment – e.g., if your card is stolen - is limited to a
maximum of 30 EURO (except in cases of serious negligence or fraud committed by the card holder), if your payment service provider is from Romania (an exceeding amount of 50 EURO is established in the flyer).
If you would like to access the leaflet provided by the European Commission in other languages spoken in the European Union and the European Economic Area, access the link: European Commision Documents.
