QUALIFIED ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE EUTL

The qualified electronic signature has the same legal value as the handwritten signature and can be used after obtaining a qualified electronic certificate issued by a trusted qualified service provider.

The qualified electronic signature represents a modern digital alternative method of signing, based on a qualified electronic certificate ("digital certificate"), of the documents in the relationship with us and has the same legal value as the holographic signature (handwritten).

UniCredit Bank accepts qualified electronic signatures only from suppliers that are on the European Union Trusted List, for certain products and services. If you own such a certificate, please contact your Relationship Manager to find out if the requested product/service is included in the list of documents accepted by the Bank to be signed with a qualified electronic signature.

What steps do I have to take to sign the contract documentation?

you receive the documents from the bank;
go through the documentation, check the correctness of the information in the documentation or complete the information requested by the bank, as the case may be;
you digitally sign the package of documents and send it via the Business NET electronic application messenger or by e-mail, if you do not have the Bussines Net application, according to the instructions received from the Bank;
you receive the contractual documentation digitally signed by 2 representatives of the Bank, archived and password-protected, at your e-mail address.

GOOD TO KNOW

The signers have the obligation to verify the correctness of the data filled in the documents received for signing, and if there are errors, they will refuse to sign, indicating to the Bank the corrections that must be made.
In order to open the documentation signed by all parties, both the signers and the company representatives must have an unzipping program installed, and to view it, it is necessary to enter the document opening password received via SMS.
