Can I make secure online payments with UniCredit Bank debit cards?
Online payments with UniCredit Bank debit cards are subjected to maximum security conditions through the 3D secure service. Applicable only to websites without specific restrictions.
What card information is required for online payments?
For online payments, the following information is required:
Type of card;
Name as it appears on the card;
Card number (the 4 groups of 4-digit on the card);
Card expiry date (below the card number, written in the format mm/yy);
CVV number (for Visa) / CVC number (for MasterCard)(the 3-digit code written on the back of the card);
3D Secure password, if asked.
Can I cancel a card payment?
If the transaction has not been settled, that is, if it is still processing, you can cancel it by contacting the store. These types of transactions cannot be canceled by contacting the bank.
If the transaction has been settled, that is, if it appears on your account statement, you can dispute it with the bank. The bank will try to recover the amount from the store, via the store’s bank through an operation called “chargeback”.
What are the cards transaction limits and how can I modify (increase/decrease) them?
Card transaction limits are different depending on the type of card, as well as the type of transaction.
You can increase or decrease the daily transaction limit as you wish by calling the Info Center at +4021 200 20 20 or at *2020 from your mobile phone or through our online banking services.
How do I block my card?
The card can be blocked instantly from the Mobile Banking application or by calling the Info Center service at 021 200 20 20 or * 2020 (from your mobile), non-stop available. Is the card renewed automatically?
If the card is used on a regular basis, its renewed automatically and sent to your bank branch 30 days before the date it expires (cards expire at the end of the month written on it).
How do I cancel a card?
To cancel a card attached to an account, visit your nearest UniCredit Bank branch.
